Ingredients needed for Creamy Pasta In Tomato Sauce

(serves 2)

For Sauce

Tomato – 4 to 5 (cut in small pieces)

Basil leaves – 4 to 5

Onion – 1 (cut in small pieces)

Garlic cloves – 2 (cut in small pieces)

Salt to taste

Sugar – 1/2 tsp

Butter – 1 tbsp

For Pasta

Pasta – 2 cup

Butter – 1 tbsp

Salt to taste

Black pepper

Basil leaves for garnishing.

How to make Creamy Pasta In Tomato Sauce

Preparation time: 5 min.

Cooking time: 20 min.

In a half cup water boil the tomatoes and let it cool.

Blend this in a mixer to make a puree.

Take 1 tbsp butter in a pan and saute the onions and garlic.

Add tomato puree, salt, sugar.

Tear the basil leaves in the sauce.

Boil on medium heat till it becomes thick. Keep aside.

Boil the pasta as per manufacturer’s instructions.

Drain the water.

In a pan take 1 tbsp butter, add pasta and salt.

Add tomato sauce and mix well.

Garnish with black pepper and basil leaves.

Serve hot.
