Recipe for Hung curd sandwich

Hung curd is beneficial for health because it contains a good amount of protein, and it can be the best food for weight loss. It helps to improve bone density and reduces high blood pressure. The sandwich is made from hung curd and can be a good food option for a cheat day meal.

Here is a delicious recipe for a hung curd sandwich: 

Ingredients:

  • One bowl curd
  • One chopped onion
  • One bowl corns
  • One chopped capsicum
  • Salt to taste
  • Oregano 
  • One spoon of black pepper
  • One bowl of mozzarella cheese
  • Cheese cubes
  • One bowl of grated cottage cheese

Recipe:

  • Take one bowl of curd and one empty bow. Now take one sieve and pour the bowl of curd into the sieve. Keep it overnight so that the water gets separated from the curd.
  • In the morning, take the curd from the sieve in an empty bowl.
  • Now take another bowl and add chopped capsicum, cottage cheese, onions, and one bowl of corn. Add the hung curd and mix well until the veggies get mixed up. 
  • Add some black pepper, salt and oregano to the hung curd mixture. 
  • Now take one slice of bread and, with the help of a small steel bowl, cut out the bread’s edges to form a circle. By this same process, take out two circles from two pieces of bread. 
  • Now apply one spoon of ketchup on one circular bread and spread the hung curd batter on another circular bread.
  • Add one spoon of mozzarella to it and grate some cheese cubes over it. You can also add diced cottage cheese.
  • Place another piece of the ketchup bread over another slice of bread. Make sure it looks like a circular sandwich.
  • Now heat a pan and add one tablespoon of butter to it. 
  • Place the circular hung curd sandwich on the pan and let it heat nicely from one side. Don’t let it burn. 
  • Now flip over the sandwich to another side and let it cook.
  • Switch off the pan and place the hung curd sandwich on the plate.

 Serve hot with tea or cold drink.
