Pizza is of Italian origin, however is now very famous in India. There are well known fast food companies as well as local joints selling various types of pizza’s. It is basically a bread base topped up with pizza sauce, cheese along with vegetarian or non-vegetarian options. Pizza goes well in any of the main course and is a good option for something different. Rather than ordering from the market you could make the pizza at home as the base is easily available in bakery and grocery shops, while you can top it up as per your choice. Here I made this Pizza with vegetables topping using the base and pizza sauce from the market. It came out so nice and everyone enjoyed it in the dinner with some cola on the side. All you need is (serves 2)
Pizza base – 2
Pizza sauce – 4Â tbsp
Mozzarella cheese – 1/2 cup (shredded)
Onion – 1/2 (cut into rings)
Capsicum – 1/4 cup (cut in squares)
Paneer – 1/4 cup (cut in cubes)
Salt – 2 pinch
Black pepper powder – 1 pinch
Oregano seasoning for garnishing
Chili flakes for garnishing
Pizza Recipe
Preparation time: 10 min.
Cooking time: 15 min.
Pre-heat the oven to 250 C.
Spread 2Â tbsp pizza sauce on each of the base.
Top it with onion slices, capsicum and paneer.
Sprinkle salt & black pepper powder and spread mozzarella cheese all over.
Bake for 10-12 min until brown from bottom.
Take out, and garnish with oregano seasoning and chili flakes.
Serve fresh & hot pizza.
