Where is Wayanad?
Wayanad, located south of the Deccan Plateau, is a district in Kerala. It includes Asia’s second largest earth dam, the Banasura Sagar Dam. Wayanad is surrounded by wildlife sanctuaries such as Muthanga and Tholpetty, which have lush green woods and diverse wildlife.

Air: From Kalpetta and Wayanad, the closest airports are located at Kozhikode, known as the Karipur International Airport, and 75 km and 100 km, respectively, away from the place.
Railway Station: Kozhikode, located nearly 100 km away, is the closest railway station to travel.
Roads: Road access is available from Calicut, Kannur, Mysore, Bangalore, and Ooty to Wayanad. From Thiruvananthapuram, Mangalore, and Kochi, there are KSRTC (Government bus) used to travel.

Eddakal Caves
