Adiyogi Statue
Mythologies also present Lord Shiva as a Yogi and he is deduced to be the founder of Yoga which is why he is also known as Adiyogi. It is believed that he is the one who put this concept of Yoga in the mind of humans and he attained his full enlightenment by practising Yoga upon the Himalayas. Another famous place to visit is the Adiyogi statue which is 34.3 metres tall is made in Thirunamam at Coimbatore in Tamil Nadu. The statue is recognised by the Guinness Book of World Records as the “Largest Bust Sculpture” in the world.
