The MGM Dizzee World is proud to be the first amusement park in Tamil Nadu to initiate many exciting and fresh ideas. This includes the introduction of Jurong's bird show ,originally hailing from Singapore, in the year 1999. Hot balloons in Chennai were also first introduced by this entertainment goliath in 1998. In 2000, it went a bit further and became the first amusement park in the Indian history to give a helicopter ride to people.
Architecture of the MGM Dizzee World
The MGM Dizzee World was designed by Italian architects, is spread across huge acres of lush greenery, and targets people of all age groups. Known for offering exciting rides and water sports facilities, it is second to none when it comes to high-energy, fun-filled entertainment. Inside the park are four restaurants that are managed by MGM. The main vegetarian section can accommodate 500 people, while the multi-cuisine section can fit in 300 at a time.

Timings
MGM Dizzee World opens at 9:30 a.m. in the morning and closes by 5:30 p.m. in the evening, and is open from Monday to Friday every week. However, during weekends and public holidays it keeps its gates open from 10:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. Moreover, from April 14 till the end of May, and from December 15 till the end of January, the amusement park remains open every day from 10:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. These months are identified as the "in-season" months for being the time when schools are closed and the state witnesses a high tourist footfall. The MGM Dizzee World is, however, not open on Wednesdays except when it is a public holiday.

The MGM Dizzee World is situated in Mutuukad, on the way to Mahabalipuram and close to the Chennai International Airport. The MGM Dizzee world sits in a comfortable area of 45 acres on the ERC road. The magnificent Bay of Bengal borders it on the east while the Crocodile Park is situated on the north.

Chennai, the capital city of Tamil Nadu, is well connected by road and railways. Hence, the amusement park which lies along the outskirts of the city is also well connected with many important places. Buses to this destination are available from all over Chennai. Buses that are on the way to Kovalam and Mahabalipuram provide stoppages at MGM Dizzee World. If trains are your preferred mode of transport, the nearest railway station is Velachery. From the station, the bus number S589 can be availed as it offers services from the station to the MGM Dizzee World.
