Tagore Hill

The Tagore Hill in Ranchi is located at a distance of three kilometers from the Albert Ekka Chowk. This hillock in Ranchi is situated at an altitude of 300 feet above sea level. This hill has been named after the famous Bengali poet, Rabindranath Tagore. It is believed that Rabindranth Tagore wrote some parts of Gitanjali on the top of this hill.
