Chanakya Puri is situated in the central portion or the heart of New Delhi. Considered to be one of the most classy areas of Delhi , Chanakya Puri enjoys a great position in the city.

The total area of Chanakya Puri including Connaught Place forms the important and central zone of Delhi. The other areas located close by are JorBagh, Nicholson lines, Lodhi Colony, Daula Khan, Sarojini Nagar and Netaji Nagar.

It is gathered from the aerial view of Chanakya Puri, that the area appears like a horse shoe, which is covered with many roads and pathways. The roads which lead to the south from north are Niti Marg, Chander Gupt Marg, Shanti Path and Nyaya Marg. These are intersected by Satya Marg, Kautilya Marg and Panch Sheel Marg.

Some of the important places in Chanakya Puri are Bhairon Temple, Nehru Park, the International Hospital, National Rose Garden and Chanakya Theatre. A few of the excellent hotels in Chanakya Puri are Hotel Ashok, Hotel Samrat, Claridges, Maurya Sheraton, Diplomat and Taj Palace.

These are just a few of the countries and the list goes on.
