Nanded is a fast-growing city of Maharashtra and is considered a mini metro. This place has historical significance because of the presence of the Renukadevi Shaktipeetha Temple and Sufi Shrines. Shri Guru Gobind Singh Ji Airport, present here, is an important airport in the Marathwada region. Tourists should see the forts, mosques, temples, waterfalls, and others natural spots. Nanded houses some of the important industries such as chemicals, pharmaceuticals, sugar, textiles, etc. Some other important commercial sectors include construction, banking, and insurance. Twelve GoAir flights are available throughout the week. Taxis and rental cars are available from the airport. The bus stand and railway stations are also located nearby, approximately 3 km and 4 km from the airport, respectively.
