Known for their intricate work and impeccable craftsmanship, the wooden items here are especially recommended. Perfect as gifts and memoirs are tiny imitations of camels, elephants and horses, known to be good luck charms. You will spot a variety of jewellery boxes and other decorative wooden art pieces, besides charming tie and dye textile products.

Best Time to Visit



As Jaipur is placed in the semi desert regions of Rajasthan, the place has extreme hot summers and very pleasant winters.

You should avoid visiting Kishanpole Bazar during the sultry hot summers that bring along a lot of sweat and humidity. The summer season here starts from mid-March till mid-June. Monsoon does bring in some showers but with a lot of humidity and a sticky weather. Jaipur does not receive as much rains as other parts of the country. The rainy season starts here from mid-July and lasts till August.

The best time to visit this captivating city is from the month of October till mid-March. During these months, the days are not so warm and the sun is also bearable. The nights are very pleasantly cold.
