1. Mahindra KUV100 Electric
Mahindra is all set to release the electric version of their popular KUV100 model. KUV100 Electric (also called eKUV100) is expected to be launched during mid-2019. Its first ever public debut was during 2018 Auto Expo. eKUV100 looks very similar to the standard KUV100 but with some minor changes.
Highlights:
- 140km maximum range.
- Fast electric charging facility will be there. This feature will help the users get 80% battery time within an hour.
- In comparison to the regular hatchback, this electric SUV will come with a large plastic panel instead of the large air dam.
- Six-slat grille and projector headlamps will be there. They will be fully enclosed.
- The new Mahindra KUV100 Electric will come with the ‘+ME’ badging, located on the front fender.
- No tailpipe will be there as this SUV is electric driven.
- On the tailgate, a grey color appliqué will be prominent.
Once launched, it will be the first ever all-electric micro SUV to go on sale. Its price will be around Rs 8-10 lakh.
