The 2018 Nissan Leaf facelift was unveiled in Tokyo (Japan) on September 6, 2017. This electric car is expected to be launched in March 2019.

Highlights:

  • The Nissan Leaf’s design is inspired from the new generation Micra model.
  • Reports say that the new Nissan electric vehicle will come with a new e-Pedal system. It will help in acceleration, deceleration, stop, and hold functions. All these functions will be done with the help of one-pedal technological function, an extremely useful feature in congested traffic.
  • This electric car will come with an improved battery life. Nissan has incorporated this car with a 40 kWh battery. On a single charge, the 2018 Nissan Leaf will run up to 400 kms.
  • Depending on the power capacity, the total time of charging will be anything from 8 to 16 hours.
  • Nissan Leaf will also come with a quick charging feature with which the users can get 80% battery time in just 40 minutes.
  • ProPILOT Park system will be there in this electric car. This automated system will take over the steering wheel to help drivers park their car in tight spots.

The electric car of Nissan is expected to be priced in the Rs. 35-40 Lakh range.
