How will an organisation run without the financial reports in place? This is where the accountants step in. Their main job is to draw up balance sheets, manage tax returns, audit accounts, and prepare annual reports. They also advise investors, managers, and higher authorities on financial matters and resource allocation. Typically, the pay of accountant starts from 2.3 lpa, which increases as you gain experience. There are, however, more scopes with related careers like chartered accountant, for which salaries can rise up to 25 lakhs per year with experience.
