So here is Peshawari Chole Masala Recipe. All you need is (serves 4) Chole – 250 gms Oil – 2 tbsp Onion – 2 cup (cut in small pieces) Ginger garlic paste – 2 tsp Tomato – 1 cup (cut in small pieces) Green chili paste – 1/2 tsp Red chili powder – 1/2 tsp Turmeric powder – 1/2 tsp Coriander powder – 2 tsp Salt to taste Chole masala – 2 tsp Tea leaves – 2 tsp Fresh coriander to garnish

Peshawari Chole Masala Recipe

Preparation time: 15 min. Cooking time: 50 min. Soak chole in sufficient water overnight. Tie the tea leaves in a muslin cloth, add it to the chole, 1 tsp salt, water and cook in a pressure cooker for about 2 whistles. Remove the muslin cloth and keep chole with water aside. Heat oil in a pan, saute the onions till golden brown. Add ginger garlic paste, green chili paste and saute for another 3-4 min. Add tomatoes and saute till the oil leaves the sides. Add all dry masala, and saute for another 5-7 min. Add chole and water and cook for a few minutes till you reduce some water. Garnish with coriander leaves. Serve.
