Day 1 of coronavirus lockdown: India registers 101 new cases, 3 deaths; Govt says working to deliver essential services. Delivery of essential commodities remained a concern throughout the day, the government kept giving assurances. Modi even talked about it again during his video interaction with the Varanasi people. The 21 days lockdown has become a national conundrum over how the government will assist the livelihood of daily wage workers and the other underprivileged class.
On March 24, Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi announced a nationwide curfew till April 15, 2020, in order to prevent the spread of #COVID19. US citizens are required to comply with Indian law & obey directions from law enforcement officers.
