The Varunastra is an advanced heavyweight anti-submarine torpedo. The wire-guided, active-passive acoustic homing torpedo comes with a 250 kg warhead and has a range of 40 km. Designed by Naval Science and Technological Laboratory, Varunastra is manufactured by Bharat Dynamics Limited.
