Flight Lieutenant Avani Chaturvedi
In 2016, Avani Chaturvedi created history by becoming one of the first women fighter pilots in India, alongside- Mohana Singh and Bhawana Kanth.
She was promoted to the rank of Flight Lieutenant this year, having already been inducted into the squadron back in 2016. In February 2018, Avani became the country’s first-ever women pilot to fly a MiG-21. With her pursuit of the skies not slowing down, the young pilot sure has many more milestones ahead.
