In Commonwealth Games 2018, Batra led the Indian women’s table tennis team to its first-ever finals victory. The team bagged a gold medal, defeating the standing champions, Singapore.

She also won a silver, along with Mouma Das in the doubles for CWG 2018, another first feat. Not only that, but Manika also bagged the individual gold medal in the event.
