Mary Kom
For many, Mary Kom has since long been the face of women’s boxing in India. Time and again, she continues to prove why.
This year, the 35-year old became the first woman ever to hold the World Amateur Boxing champion title 6 times. Not only that, Mary Kom has won gold in each of the seven world boxing championships, the first woman to ever do so. She even bagged a gold medal in the Commonwealth Games, 2018.
