The Department of Power, Royal Govt. of Bhutan in 1992 project was one of the prestigious and remarkable projects that were undertaken by the Reliance Energy Group. The project aimed at providing better electricity supplies in the different regions of Bhutan.
1992 Department of Power, Royal Govt. of Bhutan Project of Reliance
The 1992 Department of Power, Royal Govt. of Bhutan project aimed at the installation, supply and designing of the underground Sub-distribution system, service cable connections and installation of metering equipments in Thimpu and Paro regions of Bhutan. The project was a multi-task project since it also aimed at the supply and setting up of the Substation tools and measures in the SAARC Complex, Bhutan. The project even dealt with the establishment of Switchyard equipments at Singigaon in Bhutan.
EPC Division of Reliance Energy
This project was mainly handled by the EPC division of Reliance Energy Limited which mainly deals with the Engineering, Procurement and Construction projects of the company on a turnkey basis. The EPC unit looks after the engineering, electrical and mechanical projects of the Reliance Group. The Unit currently has 10 regional offices in India and overseas offices at Nepal, Bhutan and Dubai.
The Department of Power, Royal Govt. of Bhutan in 1992 project was highly successful in providing electrical supplies to different parts of Bhutan.
