National Thermal Power Corporation Ltd., New Delhi (for Nepal) in 1999 was a project undertaken by REL and successfully completed within 1999. It included the setting up of 66 KV, 33KV and 132 KV substations in Kathmandu, Nepal.

The Reliance Energy Limited has a track of delivering its projects on time and this is reflected in its past as well as present projects. This has been reflected in the project of National Thermal Power Corporation Ltd., New Delhi (for Nepal) in 1999. This was undertaken by the company for the Nepal Electricity Authority in Kathmandu, Nepal. The project was initiated within scheduled time and was completed within 1999.

The project involved the establishment, examination and commissioning of 66 KV, 33KV and 132 KV substations in the country. The project formed a part of the 7th Power Project of Nepal electricity Authority and the task was assigned to the Reliance energy Limited.
