SCECO (Central), Saudi Arabia in 1989


SCECO (Central) is a renowned electric company of Saudi Arabia which collaborated with Reliance for the establishment of power project in Ar-Rayn region. The SCECO (Central), Saudi Arabia in 1989 project was one of the successful and prestigious projects of EPC unit of Reliance Energy Limited which was undertaken in the Middle Eastern Region.

SCECO (Central) Ar-Rayn Electrification Project

The SCECO (Central) Ar-Rayn electrification project which was undertaken by EPC unit of Reliance in 1989, mainly aimed at the complete electrification of the Ar-Rayn region and setting up of the Second Circuit of Anan. The project also aimed at the rein-forcement of the distribution system in the Nakhelan region and establishing of the 33kV overhead wires in the Ar-Rayn region. With the help of this project electricity was distributed in the Ar-Rayn region and electric supplies were also bettered in the surrounding regions.

Saudi Consolidated Electricity Company (Central Region)

The SCECO or Saudi Consolidated Electricity Company is an important clientele of Reliance Company. The SCECO Company mainly deals with various power projects in Saudi Arabia. The company was built in the year 1979 by a Saudi Arabian royal decree with a total capital of SR 8 billion. At present, the company consists of the 36 electronic companies in the region and also handles many government- projects in al Qasim and Riyadh region.
