Alvar Tirunagari is a well-known Vaishnav temple of Kanyakumari. At this location, a tree has been enshrined. The temple has a historical relevance. The temple is dedicated to Lord Adinatha, who was the first Jain Thirthankara. There is a musical instrument called nadaswaram in the temple. This wind instrument, made out of stone is played during pujas and festivals and is quite popular in south India.
