At Least 17 Killed in Tractor-Truck Collision in Etah
In a collision between a truck and a tractor, about 17 people including five children have been killed in Etah district of Uttar Pradesh. As per the police officials of the region, the accident took place around 10.45 pm near the Harchandpur village. According to police officials, 15 had died on the spot while the other two took their last breathes at a hospital.

Cruiser Van Falls into Godavari, 22 Died
At least 22 people including seven children and nine women died in an accident as the cruiser van in which they were travelling fell into the Godavari River near Rajahmundry in Godavari district of Andhra Pradesh. At least 20 soldiers were killed and 11 other injured when militants ambushed army’s convoy in Chandel district in Manipur on Thursday. 4 Dead as Muri Express Derails in UP
At least four people have died and many injured after Muri Express got derailed near Sirathu in Kaushambi district of Uttar Pradesh. According to media reports, about 10 bogies of train number 18109 from Tata Nagar to Jammu Tawi derailed near Sirathu. Reportedly, rescue and relief operations are underway.

Earthquake of magnitude 5.6 injures three in Assam; tremors felt in Bengal, Bhutan and Nepal
