Bus Fell into Pond in Bihar's Madhubani At least 50 passengers were feared dead after a bus drowned in a pond in Madhubani district of Bihar. The bus was heading to Sitamarhi from Madhubani, when the driver lost control and the vehicle fell into the 25 feet deep pond. Bodies of four passengers including a woman have been fished. Heavy showers in Pithogarh and Chamoli district of Uttarakhand led to the death of twelve people, while twenty-five are still missing. The landslides buried houses in these districts, leaving many trapped under the rubbles. Among the twelve dead, 8 persons died in the cloudburst and four due to torrential rains.
