Latur Parliamentary Constituency is situated in Maharashtra state in western India. The city is famous for its oil mills and food grain trade. Latur Parliamentary Constituency is a municipal council in the district of Latur.
The city has a population of around 299,828 according to the census of 2001. Femaales comprise 48 percent of the population whereas males constitute the rest of 52 percent . Patil Shivraj Vishwanath had won seven times from this seat .
