Shillong Parliamentary Constituency is located in the state of Meghalaya in north east India. Shillong city is the capital of the state. The Shillong Parliamentary Constituency is the district headquarters of the East Khasi Hills District.
The population of the city is around 132,876 residents according to the 2001 census. The population is divided equally between males and females. The INC has won this seat six times.
