Calangute by Train




Reaching Calangute by train does not pose much of a problem to the tourists because there are regular trains connecting the town with the rest of the country. In other words, traveling to Calangute by rail is one of the best ways to reach the city.

To travel to Calangute by train, one has to avail the railway station that is closest to the city. This station is situated at Karmali, which is located at a distance of 14 km from Calangute. People can use the local transport from the railway station in order to reach Calangute. From the railway station of Karmali, one can avail a number of trains to reach various important places. Two main regular trains from Karmali Railway Station are Rajkot-Cochin Express and Rajkot-Trivandrum Express.
