  • By roadways: Apart from Mundakayam and Kanjirapally, the two agricultural towns, proximity to the National Highway (N. H.) 220 helps connect Kottayam to Tamil Nadu as well. Besides this, a number of state Highways like S. H. 1 (Main Central road), S. H. 11, S. H. 14, S. H. 13, S. H. 32 and S. H. 15 add on to the road transport system of the district.
