Panchkula is the northern most district of the state of
Haryana and one of the newly formed districts. The total population of the district is 4,69,210 with a total area of 898 square kilometers.
Panchkula has a mixed economy with agriculture and industry contributing almost equally. Main crops are sugarcane, paddy, wheat and gram while the leading industries are involved in manufacturing, processing service and repair.
Morni Hills, Pinjore and Mansa Devi temple are few of the many tourist spots in the Panchkula district.
