2. Maruti Ciaz DDiS+
Sharing its FIAT-sourced engine with the Swift, is the flagship sedan of Nexa showrooms, the Ciaz diesel. However, the reason for the astounding mileage that the car returns despite being a sedan, is the smart hybrid system that it gets as a part of its powertrain. Like the Swift diesel, the clock is counting backwards for this car as well, and come April 2020, the diesel model will be discontinued due to the applicability of the BSVI emission norms.
The Ciaz can be yours for a price range of Rs 9.2 lakh to Rs 11 lakh, ex-showroom. As opposed to its petrol counterpart, the Ciaz diesel comes only with a manual transmission.
