5. Renault KWID
Next comes the small car brigade, led by none other than – you said it – the Renault Kwid. It is the most fuel-efficient petrol powered car in the market with a small 800 cc motor that comes paired with a five-speed manual transmission. The Kwid comes in two variants, one with the said 800 cc engine and a slightly larger 1000 cc powered one, but the former makes it to the high-mileage club and the latter doesn’t. The smaller-engine Kwid produces a nice 25 kilometres to a litre and can be had between the range of Rs 2.8 lakh and Rs 4 lakh depending on the variant of choice.
