Now, let’s tone down the surprise factor a bit and move over to our good old Bollywood celebrities who did make it to the list. But here’s a twist, too. This year so many Bollywood ladies tied the knot. But, guess what, it’s not the blushing brides that were searched the most (with the exception of Priyanka Chopra), it’s their husbands! Nick Jonas has made it to India’s most searched celebrity this year, something he could never do even in his Jonas Brother’s day. Same happened with Anand Ahuja, the guy Sonam married. But the thing is Sonam is not even on the list! Apparently, we are more interested in the less-popular guys Tinsel Town ladies are marrying. The obsession with their husbands carries on even after the Bollywood actress dies. Despite the overwhelming media sensationalisation around Sridevi’s death, it was not she who was searched the most. It’s Boney Kapoor, her husband, about whom people were curious. Perhaps, we feel very sorry for the miserables and wanted to know how the newly widower is holding up. Is he okay? Will he be ever happy again? So so kind, our Indian audience. How nice!
