About Veegaland (Now Wonderla) Amusement Park
Planning for an exciting and fun-filled trip? Then Veega Land Amusement Park (re-branded as Wonderla Kochi (in April 2011) is the place to be. It has more than 50 adventurous rides which will make your head spin! From water rides to other hair-raising rides, both the elders and young ones can choose from different options.
The best part is that you can enjoy delicious food at the in-house multi-cuisine food court.
Location
This amusement park is located about 14 km away from Kochi. It is situated on top of a hill at Pallikkara, and the park itself is spread over an area of 30 acres. It is going to be difficult to cover the complete place and rides in one go, so plan twice! After all, these kinds of trips and plans are worth going for.
Buses and cabs are available to access this amusement park in Kochi. Aluva Railway Station is 9 km away from Veegaland Amusement Park.
Attractions in Veegaland Amusement Park
Musical Dancing Fountain–As the name suggests, it is a musical fountain which attracts people from all ages. You can sit around the fountain and have a great time.
The Vintage Castle–This seven-storied fairy land is a must visit place and an eye candy for children.
Vintage Tornado–Set amidst a 40-ft-high magical castle, this mind blowing roller coaster is one of the major attractions of the Veega Land Park.
Wavy and Vertical Fall–Enjoy the thrill of falling down in a gush of water so fast that you just cannot think about anything else but shout out loud. And that’s a thrilling and chilling experience!
Some of the rides that kids would love to try, include Caterpillar Ride, Magic Carpet, Rapid River, Wave Pool and Wonder Splash.
Making friendship with ‘Flying Ammu’, jumping from the ‘Balloon Tower’ and galloping on ‘Jumping Horse’ are other activities that are close to the heart of the kids.
Things to Remember
Outside eatables are not allowed.
Wearing swimming costume is a must to enter the swimming pool.
Pets are not allowed inside the Veega premises for their safety purposes.
Consumption of alcohol is strictly prohibited inside the Veega premises.
