It acquired the name Gold Leaf Painting as parts of the painting was covered with a gold leaf of 24K and then the final touches were given. The painting was then allowed to dry. After it had completely dried up, a thin paper was placed on it and a soft stone was rubbed on the painting. This method enhanced the relief work done on the painting with gold foil.
