Baba Saheb Bhimrao Ambedkar was a champion of the Untouchable movement in India, he contributed greatly towards the nation as a philosopher, jurist, politician, social reformer, and anthropologist.

He became the first law minister of independent India, while he served as the Chairman of the Constitution Drafting Committee, where he contributed enormously with various policies and by giving every representative an equal opportunity to put their view forward. He served as a Chairman for a period of two and a half year from 29 August 1947 to 24 January 1950.
