One can apply for admission into the medical colleges of Mangalore, if he or she has passed the second year Pre-University or 10+2 or any such equivalent examination in the year of admission or earlier with an aggregate of 50%. For Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes, the required aggregate is 40%. One should pass the above examinations in Physics, Chemistry and Biology if one wants to apply for the medical and dental courses.
