It is organized by the Delhi Tourism and Govt. of NCT of Delhi in collaboration with the Agricultural and Processed Food Products Export Development Authority (APEDA), the National Horticultural Board (NHB) and the New Delhi Municipal Council (NDMC). However, this year the horticulture department of the West Bengal government and the food processing industries of the state have also contributed to make it more affluent. The Mango festival promotes trading of the fruit from all across the world. It aims to exhibit around eleven hundred varieties of mangoes from different Indian states.
