- Hon'ble Chief Minister, Shri Manohar Parrikar, will be inaugurating the 2nd Annual Heritage Festival in Goa.
- The festival will also observe the presence of Hon'ble MLA & GTDC Chairman Shri Nilesh Cabral, Hon'ble Tourism Minister Shri Dilip Parulekar, Sarpanch of Saligao Eknath Oraskar, Secretary Tourism Shri Parimal Rai, and other significant personalities.
- The festival is being directed by the Department of Tourism and the Goa Tourism Development Corporation (GTDC).
- The five-day event will include the celebration of culture, arts and history, presenting brilliant performers and craftsmen. They will perform live in front of the guests to bring to light their crafts and skills.
- Stalls will be placed to showcase unparalleled crafts of Goa such as marco, coconut craft, woodcraft, pottery, crochet, handicrafts, hand-painted tiles, and lots more.
- Special food stalls will be made for offering traditional food of Goa to the visitors.
- An outstanding gallery displaying numerous heritage snaps of ancient Goa and the traditional lifestyle of Goans will enhance the attraction.
- The festival will add to your fun with its entertainment programmes such as dance performances of Goa like Mando, Dhalo, Fugdi, Goff, Ghode Modni, Kunbi dance, Divli dance, Kalshi dance, fisher folk dance, and Kazaracho dance. Also it will include other traditional folk dances of Goa like Morulo, Jagor, Khel Tiatr, Veerabhadra, brass band, Dhangar Nrutya, Dasarwadan, Zemado etc.
- Dance performances by Amelia Dias and Troupe, Mahendra Phaldessai Troupe, Marianela Gina & Troupe, Amit Tate & Group Kirti Kala Krida Kendra from Bicholim led by Pundalik Sawant and 'Mil Mel Nel'.
- A Fashion show will be conducted to present the traditional wear of Goa. It will be organized by Verma D'Mello, a famous fashion designer of Goa.
- There is also arrangement for good music to keep you cheerful. Konkani songs by Sonia Shirsat and classical singing by Praveen Gaonkar have been included in the event.
- Lorna Cordeiro, the famous Konkani singer, will also perform at the festival.
- A seminar on Heritage of Goa at the Saligao Panchayat Hall has been planned on 11 January, which will include lectures by photographer and feature writer Pantaleao Fernandes and the President of Goa Heritage Action Group, Mr. Prajal Sakhardande.
