Baramati Parliamentary Constituency is located in western India in the state of Maharashtra. The city has a population of around 51,342 according to the 2001 census. 48 percent of the population comprises of females while 52 percent are males.

It is situated in the district of Pune district and is also a municipal council. Baramati Parliamentary Constituency is the hometown of political leader Sharad Pawar.

Pawar Sharadchandra Govindrao has won the elections from here five times. After the implementation of Presidential notification on delimitation of Baramati district constituency was segmented into six legislative assemblies -
