Agra city in Uttar pradesh is known throughout the world for the magnificent Taj Mahal. Soaked in history, Agra is scattered with memoirs of a majestic past.

The city is not much advanced in sports and has never been host to International matches but the common people of Agra love sports.

The government is continuously trying to develop sports, especially cricket. Agra houses three stadiums among which the Sadar Bazar Stadium had been venue to several Ranji Trophy Matches from 1934 to 1986.
