North West Delhi is one of the nine separate and significant districts of Delhi and is as important as the others. The head of North West Delhi is the Deputy Commissioner, who is responsible to the Divisional Commissioner.

In order to systematize the administration of North West Delhi, it is further divided. The Sub Divisions of North West Delhi are 3 in total and they are Saraswati Vihar, Model Town and Narela. The offices of the Additional District Magistrate and Deputy Commissioner of North West Delhi are situated in Kanjhawala.

The entire area of North West Delhi covers roughly 440 square kilometers and is important from the point of view of commerce and business. There are a number of top corporate firms in North-West Delhi. This district of Delhi is famous for its popular and posh shopping malls as well as trendy entertainment zones. There are many residential blocks in North West Delhi, which are inhabited by large sections of the society. The entire area is marked by uncountable modern high rises which indicate its great prosperity.
