There are innumerable entrance exams conducted in India for admission to a medical institution/ university. Medical aspirants are required to take various national and institution-level exams in order to enter the field of medicine. In India, there are a plethora of colleges, universities associated with medicine - be it pursuing Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS), Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS), Master of Dental Surgery (MDS), Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharma), Master of Pharmacy. NEET (National Eligibility and Entrance Test)



The National Eligibility and Entrance Test is a national level medical entrance exam conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE). NEET score enables a medical aspirant for admission to MBBS and BDS course in premier institutions across the nation.

JIPMER (Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education and Research)



JIPMER is conducted by the Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education and Research (JIPMER), Puducherry. Applications for JIPMER can be done only through online mode. Successful candidates will get admission in Puducherry and Karaikal campuses of JIPMER.

AIPMT (All India Pre-Medical / Pre-Dental Test)



All India Pre- Medical / Pre-Dental Test is conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) for admission to various medical institutions across India. AIPMT has two parts- AIPMT Prelims and AIPMT Mains.

AIIMS Medical Entrance Exam



AIIMS is a premier medical institution in the country and admission to it is highly competitive. All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) conducts AIIMS MBBS entrance exam for admission to its famed institution. It is a national undergraduate medical entrance exam. It will be held in May 2018. AIIMS 2018 will take place to admit students to 707 seats in 7 AIIMS institutions.

GPAT (Graduate Pharmacy Aptitude Test)



Graduate Pharmacy Aptitude Test (GPAT) is a national level entrance exam which is conducted by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). It fosters Pharmacy graduates for admission to Masters of Pharmacy program in various Pharmacy institutes across India. All Institutions / Universities / Departments / Constituent Colleges / Affiliated Colleges approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) accepts the GPAT Score. GPAT is a three-hour test which is conducted online in a single session.
