Margao- Arambol Beach



Margao - Arambol Beach is one of the most frequented tours from Margao. Two beaches borders the small fishing village of Arambol. The Harmal beach is one of the primary beaches of the region that lies in the northern extreme of Arambol. The other beach lies beyond the expanse of the rocky cliffs that separate the village from the beach.

The beach provides the tourists with the opportunities to participate in water sports activities. Apart from swimming, the tourists may partake in para gliding from atop the cliffs in the region. Dolphin cruise is also conducted from the beach. The tourists may travel to the Anjuna beach in the wooden boats from Arambol Beach.

The tourists may indulge in a shopping while visiting the Arambol Beach. The local people set up stalls along the beach to sell local products made of bamboo and shells. The tourists may gather the collectible as souvenirs from these stalls at a good bargain.

Restaurants that lie along the beach serve some of the mouthwatering delicacies to the tourists. Sea food is a specialty of the restaurants in Arambol Beach.

Modest accommodation is provided in the budget hotels of the region. The tourists may reside in the huts that are equipped with modern facilities. The en suite huts also have attached kitchens for the tourists who desire to reside in the region for longer durations.

Regular buses traverse the route from Margao to Arambol Beach. The tourists may travel in hired taxis from the city to the beach. The ideal time to undertake the tour to the beach is between the months of November and February.
