Margao- Baga Beach

Margao- Baga Beach is 16 kms away from the capital city of Goa, Panaji. It is only7 kms away from Margao. The best time to visit this enchanting beach is from the month of December to February. It is not a very congested beach. The beach is marked with rocky wooden promontories. Tourists visiting this beach are completely bedazzled by its enigmatic beauty and natural splendor. It is one of the most popular beaches of Margao. It is a well-maintained beach having all kinds of facilities, much for the benefit of their tourists.

Tourists can indulge in more than one activity while sojourning the entire beach of Baga . Trekking, snorkeling, wind-surfing and fishing are some of the popular beach activities. The Baga Retreat House was founded in the year 1953 in honor of St. Francis Xavier.
