Pushkar can also be reached via roads which connect the town with Ajmer which lies at a distance of 14 kilometers from Pushkar. Buses, Jeeps and taxis are available at Ajmer which carries passengers to Pushkar daily. Transportation in Pushkar is not much required as it is a small town and can be toured on foot. A major transport in Pushkar that is used by the people of the town and can also be used for traveling within Pushkar is the bike. Camels comprise another interesting mode of transportation in Pushkar.
