Rabindra Sadan

The first laying stone for constructing Rabindra Sadan of Kolkata was done by the late Prime Minister of India, Shri Jawaharlal Nehru on 8th May, 1961. But it was opened to public from October, 1967. Rabindra Sadan of Kolkata was established to pay homage to our favorite poet and Nobel Prize laureate Guru Rabindranath Tagore. The Nandan theater hall situated at the backside of Kolkata's Rabindra Sadan, is a hot spot for film lovers.
