Born to famous Bollywood stuntman, fight master and director Veeru and Veena Devgan on April 2,1967, Vishal alias Ajay Devgan began his film career by stepping into Bollywood in the early 1990s as a action hero. He came into the limelight in 1991 with the release of "Phool aur Kantee" which won him the Filmfare Best Debut Award. He used to follow his father to the film sets and shootings
Originally a resident of Punjab, Ajay completed his graduation from Silver Beach High School in Juhu and Mithibai College and then stepped into the Hindi film industry.
