Although Greater Noida is still developing, the city has some places of interest as well.
The Indian Expo Centre: This is one of the most famous and the best event hosting venue in the city. The centre is spread over an area of 21,000 square metres and has a fire prevention system and CCTV camera facility in its halls and entire area. It can accommodate as many as 5,000 people at the same time.
Buddh International Circuit: The motor racing circuit is known for the annual Formula One Indian Grand Prix. However, the event has been suspended since 2013 due to some legal disputes. The circuit has been designed by renowned German architect Hermann Tilke.
Greater Noida Cricket Stadium: The cricket stadium is under construction and will have a sitting capacity of 40,000 people which is expected to increase gradually to 1,00,000. The stadium will have necessary amenities such as food court, information kiosk, corporate boxes, medical facilities etc.
Religious Places: Greater Noida has many religious places which are visited by many people everyday. Ghanteshwar Mandir, Shiv Mandir, Shri Mahadev Mandir, Shri Siddheshwar Mandir are some of the temples in the city.
Shopping Malls: The city houses many shopping malls such as Ansal Plaza, Omaxe Arcade, Parsvnath Bibhab Plaza and many more. Some of these malls are under construction.
How to Reach?
The Taj International Airport in Greater Noida has regular flights from other cities. The other closest airport is Indira Gandhi International Airport. New Delhi Railway Station is the nearest railway station to Greater Noida. The city is located at a distance of approximately 25 kilometres from Delhi and is also connected by the Expressway and DND Flyover.
