Jaunsari tribe though all the other communities join them. This reflects the cultural and communal harmony among different communities.
Mahasu Devta's Fair in Dehradun is held in August every year. At this time, the deity of Mahasu Devta is taken out in a procession. Large crowds walk along both sides of the procession. The prayers continue for 3 full days including nights. The prayers are accompanied by music. Musicians come from various corners of the city to participate in Mahasu Devta's Fair in Dehradun.
