Andheri is one of the most important part of the lively city of Mumbai. Being the largest suburb of Mumbai, it is divided in to two sections -Andheri East and Andheri West. Both parts of Andheri are witness to a lot of industrial, commercial, cultural and social activities. The development works in Andheri started after 1915 and after the creation of Greater Bombay in 1945 it was brought under the administration of the Bombay city.
